First of the mutable moons for 2011. Last of the 2010 year.
Making for the end of the year. In astrological terms.
Where the moon is opposite the sun - current sun sign - gets a full moon in opposite astrological sign. This sun light is reflected onto the lunar surface. It's a shade of the solar shining back to earth. This works much better with a flow chart. * see the bottom of my page for the earth and lunar phases.
Four mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces. The mutable signs represent end of the season and are the harbingers of what's to come in the next solar cycle.
Pisces is understood to represent the element of water and ends winter.
Virgo is understood to represent the element of earth and ends summer.
Since the Sun is in Pisces, the moon is then in Virgo.
Water and Earth, make mud. And this full moon is a good time to dig in the dirt, plant the seeds within it's loamy goodness. Get in the mud of life and form the bricks of foundations for this coming year.
The new moons, where it's a dark moon or no moon at all is seen in the sky, is in the same astrological sign as the sun sign. Earth sees no shade of the sunlight reflected back to earth.
Don't fret!
Every couple of weeks it's going to happen again.
Has been endlessly for quite a long while.

Quotes from Roommates
Like most of the world when in my twenties, I had roommates. Most where male. I enjoyed living with men far more than ever with women.
However, that being said, I think being my sisters roommate again would be awesome - we haven't been since I left home.
Listed here are three random memorable quotes from the male roommates.

Love and Kisses
1. If you eat a banana, the next day you poop out a banana shape. It's cool, cause it's all clean when it comes out.
2. Slap him harder, his lips are turning blue.
3. Well I didn't know you would be coming home tonight, and just thought you might be an intruder. I'll put the knife away now.
This puts my thinking into all the people I've know to have been a roomies with. One woman, who was my first roommate actually Lizanne, was her name. She and I went through insane life situations together. Her family life was rather dramatic, and we haven't spoken since being roomies. I believe her to been currently an RN up in Eugen OR, married to a very nice man.
We lived down the street from our favorite music venue Cathay De Grande (there's a page on facebook) it was an amazing place!
With our third roomie Jim. (his sister was a world famous model and dated the dark haired guy from Hall and Oates) haven't even heard about him since we were roommates. He had a motorcycle, and all three of us would ride on it from Hollywood to Pacific Palisades, where I lived up until we all became roommates.
Another roommate and woman, had her long time boyfriend and then husband, go wildly queenly gay.
Which I gather has been great for her, she remarried and had a baby, which is what I think she wanted all the while.
During this time I had my first real love in life, we lived together for several years, with these two as roommates, and also apart as a couple.
We also had a show on public access cable we called,
Rug Rats Recess
That was so much fun! There where four of us, myself and my sister, Andrew and Ken, with visits from other people from skit to skit.
After 25 years or something of not a word between, Andrew and I had dinner and a nice chat. That's been a few years back when I was visiting San Jose CA.
Yep, I could write about anything.
Wonder what I'll think up next?
